Yes. The business name, address, phone, tax settings, and current line items (including per-item taxes) are saved automatically as you type. Reopen the page and everything is exactly where you left it.

The subtotal sums each item's base amount (quantity × price, or the flat amount for services). The discount is applied proportionally across all items. Each item with its own tax gets that tax computed on its post-discount base. The global tax applies only to items that don't have their own tax, also on their post-discount base. Shipping and tip are added last. The receipt shows every one of these lines separately.
Yes. Click the pencil icon on any chip to rename it, change its price, or switch between quantity-based pricing and a flat charge. Press the checkmark to save, or the × to cancel.
Your browser's default page margins are probably still on. In the print dialog, set margins to None and make sure "Headers and footers" is unchecked. Also confirm the paper size matches the width you selected (80mm or 58mm).
Yes — pick from six built-in symbols in the Currency dropdown. The symbol changes only; no conversion is applied to the numbers you enter.
Click + New receipt. It clears the customer fields, resets the discount, bumps the receipt number, and reloads the sample items for the current template. Your business details stay untouched.
Only your browser's local storage quota, which is typically several megabytes — enough for thousands of receipts. If you need long-term archiving, print or export to PDF.
Yes. The layout adapts to small screens, the receipt preview scales down, and every section can be collapsed to keep the page compact while you work.
